My artist statement

Through prompting by professors throughout the Digital Media degree program, the work within this site grew in skill and depth as time progressed and became more personal. Each piece created strives to evoke emotion and provoke thought within the viewer. Whether the piece is as simple as a pencil sketch or as intricate as a video project, each piece has a goal and a motivation behind it. Each piece strives to be something that maybe you haven't seen before. They strive to make you think in a way that maybe you haven't thought before. They strive to make you feel emotions that maybe you haven't felt before. Art is a way of expression and a way of therapy.
